Figured Maple Secretary
Maple isn’t the easiest to work, but often has beautiful irregular grain that really stands out. In this case, the figured maple has a chance to shine in the large doors of the upper section. This piece was antiqued by simulating years of use with a brown stain, followed by a hand-rubbed glaze, on top of a well-worn surface.
